The Hyasyoda Meeting Eachother

Hoku walked into the area silently . It's too dark he told Crog. Mohana he thinks making his right eye turn red. Ok..., theres noone here I guess he told Crog. Apparently not, this place is abandoned. I'm sure someone will come though Crog responded. Hoku undoes his Mohana. It's too dark he thought. "Plamsa Wall" he said making the place light right up. "Ooo, fire place" he said while spitting into it. The fire pit burst into flames. Ok... so now we wait. Wanna play 20 quiestions? Hoku asked Crog in a humorous tone. No... let me sleep Crog responded sounding harsh. There was a sigh heard within Hoku and then silence. Good idea Hoku told Crog yawning. He fell asleep to the now dimly lit room.

Kurogane wandered through the empty hallways, muttering in a low voice to himself like he often did while alone. He had come to this place many times before to think, he knew the place and its darkness quite well. However, something was different this time. There was a flickering light dancing through the old halls. Illuminating walls that hadn't seen light in years. "So, someone found this place" He thinks as he stops his mutterings and begins to silently glide towards the source of the light.

If someone had indeed discovered this place, he may have to dispose of them quickly. He couldn't afford to have this location revealed to unwanted eyes. The light grew steadily brighter as he approached the corner. Peering around he sees a figure standing by the fire. A figure he instantly recognized, another member of Hyasyoda. He exits his dark veil and enters the light of the fire. "What are you doing here?" He demands in his demonic tone of a voice.

Hoku quickly spun around with a kunai in his left hand and his sword in his right. "Oh, it's just you, Kirogane" he said to him in astonishment. He sheathed his sword and put back the kunai. He noticed that the fire was going out. "We need some wood, or are we leaving. I heard that the leader is coming soon?" he said in a tone full of question. I don't trust this guy Crog told Hoku. Well I do so it isn't of a concern to you. I've known him for a long time. Hoku answered back snappishly.

"So, she's coming here" He says, mostly to himself. Turning to the dying fire, he shows no intrest in keeping it going. "Do as you wish with it. That kindling matters not to me" His voice, while still inhuman, carried a slight tone of frustration in it. Now that the Leader knew of this location, he would need to find a new place for him to go and think. First thing to do was to break the seals he had placed in the area. He turns on the spot and heads back towards the darkness. "I have some business to attend to. If you have anything you need to say to me. State it now".

"No, I'm just waiting to find out what we're gonna do" he said noticing the frustration. "And lighten up, your always acting like that" he said with a little anger. "I'm tired so I'll stay here and rest, but you go." he said. With that Hoku closed his eyes and lied down onto the couch.

"Its a good thing he never has too much drive" Kurogane says to himself as he begins down the corridors. "Can't have anyone snooping around in my business". He continues through the halls, navigating the darkness with perfect ease. He eventually comes across a room with a large stone pillar-like thing going up the floor and through the ceiling. He approaches it and presses in a stone. A loud clank is heard and the pillar slides open, revealing a spiraling staircase. Descending he comes upon a lone room. Inside, books and objects were strewn about. Scrolls containing countless seals were partially unravelled and appeared to have been thrown about. He shifts through the objects, grabbing several books and scrolls. He then walks over to an archway that was nothing more than decoration on the wall. Muttering to himself, the surface of the wall inside the arch began to shimmer as if it were the surface of water. He gently places the books and scrolls through before closing the gate. He then looks to several seals etched into the stone, after a moment, they seemed to catch fire and fade back to the original stone before it was carved.

He then exits the room and begins to ascend the stairs. A fire seemed to have started inside but no heat or sound of buring objects could be heard. "Finished, might as well head back".

Hoku was laying on the couch just waiting. I still don't trust him, you godda test him. Make sure hes not gonna try to kill us Crog stated in a very questioning voice. Pipe down, I'm trying to sleep. I really don't want to talk about this now. We've known each other for years and he hasn't played any tricks on me. Now... silence, I need my sleep for the boss Hoku told Crog while turning on the couch a little trying to get comfortable. It's too cold he thought.

Kurogane glides quietly back into the room where Hoku was lying. The fire had died low and now only cast a small amount of light through the room. Looking inside it was clear it had died from lack of fuel. He then looks over to Hoku, he was shivering slightly in the shadows. A feeling of disgust and envy washed over him for a moment, but quickly faded. He then glides across the floor towards the opposite side of the room, standing in the dark of a corner.

He stands there for several minutes in near complete silence, save for the shivering of Hoku. Finally, Kurogane speaks up, "So, when's the boss supposed to arrive?".

Hoku was resting when he heard Kurogane speak up. "I don't know, all I got was a message saying to come here as fast as possible" he said turning over to face Kurogane. He sat up and looked around. Wow, theres a lot of stuff here he thought to himself. Ughh, shut up, will ya? Crog told Hoku in an angry voice. Hoku just ignored him. He noticed the fire dying out. "I'm getting cold. Your lucky that you don't" he said with a sarcastic tone. He walked over and spit into the fire. It ignited the whole room for a moment and then died down again. "Well, I guess that didn't work" he said jokingly.

"Even a monkey can start a fire. But you need some level of intelligence to keep it burning" Kurogane scoffs back at Hoku's failed attempt at reigniting the fire. He then takes a quick lookover of the room. There were several cabinets and pieces of furniture that were old and worn from years of unuse. "Perhaps the little monkey could be trained to do it properly". His demonic voice holding an obvious tone of mockery as he spoke. "Lesson one: Monkys love to play in trees. Trees are made of wood. Wood is flammable. Is there anything around here made of wood the monkey could use to keep a fire burning?"

The air in the room seemed to boil and distort, the air growing frigid and burning hot at the same time. There was a sickening laugh in the air and a cool icy voice whispered into where Kurogane's ear would have been.
"So Kuro, up to your old tricks I see?" A sharp grin materialized in the air inches from the edge of Kurogane's hood, Followed shortly by the translucent form of Astarte.
"You seem...well." She smirked, vanishing and reappearing on his other side. "Still glad you gave up your body?" She said with a laugh. He turned towards her, raising his hand towards her but she just vanished again as the door opened and Zen walked in.
"Playing nice kiddies?" She said, with a cold bite in her voice. Astarte rematerialized behind her, floating just off the ground. "Oh Kurogane has been very naughty." Astarte said with a laugh. "Isn't that right Kuro?" She said materializing at his side again. "You might want to let me know what those seals you've placed around are."

Kurogane stood undaunted as Asarete materialized into the room. "And I see you are up to yours as well. Can't enter a room through a door like a civilized person. Have to make a scene everywhere you go". His gaze follows her around the room as Asarete appeared beside him. "Those seals were merely for security reasons. I happen to prefer my privacy". He responds to her as she floats around him. "Besides, even if you look, you'll find nothing. I've already moved the most important research to a new, secure location and left no traces of evidence of anything else I worked on here". He thinks to himself, irritated at this projections interferece. "So, what is this all about?".

At the sound of being called a monkey, Hoku spun around on the couch facing Kuro. "I'm no monkey..." he said clenching a fist. He then heard a voice going around the room. Must be Zen he thought. I hope so, I don't feel like fighting Crog responded. Astarte then appeared out of nowhere and starting speaking to Kuro. Hoku stood up and stretched his arms in the air. He then started to hear Kuro respond to the demon. After he finished Hoku stated "Zen, just show yourself before I leave. I wanna know what we're going to do" he stated in a sort of lazy voice. He yawned and waited for a reply.

"Yeah, that..." Zen said fumbling through a book of seals she had, "I found possibly the greatest thing ever"
"It's really big, we're talking crime of the century, the millenia even!" Astarte said excitedly.
Zen found the page she needed and bit her finger, putting a tiny blot of blood in the center of the seal. It flashed and an image appeared in the air above the book. It showed an old half collapsed shrine, hidden in a rocky crag. The image moved, panning around and entering the shrine. Inside there was a deep stairwell which the image flew down into, zooming deep into the earth. The stairwell became more rickety and broken down the deeper it went , I turned and moved through earthen tunnels and down deep mine shafts, deeper and deeper into the ground. Eventually it reached a massive cavern, stretching for hundreds of meters across and going miles and miles down. the cavern had a ramp that wound around the perimeter, spiraling into the blackness, but the image just flew down the shaft. The walls were dotted with holes, each one containing the body of a fallen warrior from times forgotten. The descent stopped and the view spiraled into a crypt, behind the body was another tunnel slanting into the distance. The tunnel became a bridge, crossing a crack that extended to the base of the world. The path began slanting uphill, it spiraled up through narrow passages and over yawning chasms before arriving at a bloodstained door. the image passed through it revealing a room filled with scrolls and books. ANBU members were walking around, a few were writing things down.
"The Headquarters of the Rock countries ANBU, that room contains more sacred forbidden scrolls then any other in that entire country. It also contains battle plans for an invasion of the Fire country. And we're going to steal it."
"Not just the scrolls though, we're taking everything, including the ninjas, we're stealing the ROOM itself." Astarte said with a grin. "Can you imagine it..."
